Operations Manager (m/f/d)

You will be the Operations Manager reporting to the Managing Director of ifm electronic Vertrieb Deutschland. In this role, you will:

• translate the organisation’s strategic objectives into operational goals
  implement and oversee the right processes and practices across the organisation to achieve these goals, striving for excellence
• enhance use of operational management systems, processes and best practices
• ensure all operations are running to budget, ensuring efficiency and cost effectiveness including performing quality controls and monitoring KPIs
• ensure that the organisation’s processes remain legally compliant
• proactively identify problems in your areas of responsibility and work on solutions to ensure ongoing process optimisation

  • Examine and control financial data and use it to improve profitability
  • Manage budgets and forecasts
  • Manage HR processes in compliance with company rules and legal regulations
• Ensure all order-to-cash relevant processes including goods delivery are performed to meet or exceed customer expectations

• Proven work experience in relevant business areas pertaining to this role (finance, controlling, HR or customer service)
• Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Familiarity with business and financial principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding organisational skills
• Strong leadership skills with collaboration & teamwork as preferred working methods
• Great strategic planning, organisational and analytical thinking skills coupled with a hands-on mentality
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel regularly
