At Virtual Retail we develop cutting-edge Machine Learning & Deep Learning solutions for companies to optimize their business process with the help of AI and Computer Vision. E.g., our sizeez® Body Scanning Technology can calculate accurate body measurements from just 2 photos, which empowers our B2B customers across online fashion, fitness, and health industries to create even more personalized user experience for the mass users. We also work closely together with ifm to provide solutions for industries such as manufacturing, Assembly, logistics, etc.

To strengthen our development team we are looking for:

Working Student (m/f/d) – Deep Learning / Computer Vision

12-20 hours per week / Siegen

Your Responsibilities:

As a working student you will perform assisting tasks in our neural network training:

• You will accompany and support the entire project lifecycle, from dataset creation, data cleaning, training, hyperparameter optimization to evaluation and documentation
• You will work closely with and be responsible for reporting to the team leader

Your Profile:

• Student in the field of computer science, computer vision or a comparable subject
• Advanced programming skills in Python
• Preferably practical experience with deep learning frameworks such as Torch or Tensorflow
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Independent and result-oriented approach to work and hands-on mentality
